QRP-10 - A 10 Meter CW Transceiver Built
Manhattan-style
Original Design by: Mike Fitzgibbon, N0MF
Modified Design by: Jim Kortge, K8IQY |
Summary This article covers the design and constructionof a CW transceiver for 10 meters. The original design was done by Mike Fitzgibbon, N0MF and published in the QRPp Magazine. Doug Hendricks, KI6DS, publisher of QRPp, ask myself and Chuck Adams, K5FO to each build this design as a contest to see who could build the best performing rig, and the winning rig would be published in QRPp, and receive glowing admiration from hams around the world! (Just kidding) The rig presented here is my effort, and I can't remember if it ever was published or not. Doesn't matter, it was a fun project and a good performing rig. So, if you are looking to get on 10 Meters, here is a QRP rig design that will get you there. Have fun! Jim Kortge, K8IQY |
