2N2/40 Prototype Transceiver Pictures
This is an overall view of the rig. It is in a TenTec TP-42 case.
Looking at the front with the cover off. The unetched PC board substrate is 4X5 inches.
Looking from the right side, with the elevated 3-2N2222 transistor final.
Underneath of the small board is the LP filter, and on the main board are
the receiver T/R switch, input filtering, and r.f. amplifier to the very
left.
Looking over the back toward the front. The big white toroid with green wire
in the middle is the VFO inductor.
Looking from the left side, along the product detector, Rx mute, and audio
amplifier.
